Introducing the New Leadership Team: An Article by Food & Drink Business

We’re pleased to share that Food & Drink Business has published a fantastic piece on our new leadership team at Luv-a-Duck.

This feature highlights the exciting changes we’ve made to drive our brand forward, ensuring we continue to deliver the premium duck products our customers love. We’re looking forward to a future filled with opportunities under our revamped leadership as we bring more innovation and delicious duck to tables across the country.

We are happy to announce that we've welcomed some fresh faces to our senior leadership team, bringing new energy and expertise to Luv-a-Duck.

Sarah Sorenson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, bringing with her a wealth of finance and operations experience from her time at Schweppes Australia, Asahi Beverages, and most recently Bondi Sands. Cath Fifoot joins us as Head of Sales following commercial roles at Lamb Weston and Bega Cheese. And our new Head of Marketing, Tim Stanford, brings extensive food and beverage experience from his time with Nando’s and Darrell Lea.

These new additions complement our existing leadership team, who continue to drive the business forward. Ross Ellis, our Head of Livestock, leads our farming teams to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and farm management. Mark Shandley, our Head of Operations, leads our production and supply chain teams, focusing on efficiency, quality, and innovation in every aspect of our operations. Antoinette Avery, our Head of People and Culture, plays a crucial role in shaping the culture at Luv-a-Duck, fostering an environment where our people can thrive and do their best work.

Together, this team, under the leadership of our CEO Daniel Shoppee, is committed to delivering the best possible products and experiences for our customers as we continue to innovate, grow, and redefine Australia’s meal moments.
