Ingredients

6 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 cups milk
2 cups thickened whipping cream
3/4 cup brandy
1/3 cup dark rum

Method

  1. Chill all ingredients before starting, for best results.
  2. Beat eggs until they just become frothy, then beat in sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
  3. Slowly stir in brandy, rum, cream and milk.
  4. Chill again, and serve egg nog cold.
